For friends and family there is no introduction needed. But for everyone else my name is Yanique and the last years I\’ve lived in The Netherlands. I\’ve worked there as a piping engineer and was well on my way to make a career for myself. Looking back at this whole time I think I always knew something was off and made me unable to take the fullest out of my life, but at one moment me and my girlfriend came to see that the way we lived didn\’t make us happy. We decided to leave everything behind and we literally sold everything we owned and started planning for a trip. I call it a world trip but maybe it is more a journey without end and set route.
I am not saying that what I\’ve decided for myself right now is the right path to a more fulfilled life but I am definitely going to try. Maybe I will find something completely different to what I know now and will want to change my life towards that. Who knows? What I do know is that I want to see what is out there, live adventures and learn how other people live there lives.
